Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UGoodFam? (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. What the Service Is

UGoodFam? is a community-safety companion. It helps you keep a trusted circle, share your status and location when you choose to, document encounters, and play prepared statements and affirmations. The Service is provided free of charge and does not require an account or payment to use its core features.

2. Not an Emergency Service

The Service is not an emergency, lifeline, or medical service. It cannot guarantee that your circle is reachable, that a message is delivered, or that help will arrive. In any genuine emergency, always contact official emergency services directly (110/112 in Germany, 911 in the US and Canada, or your local emergency number).

3. Your Circle and Alerts

You are responsible for who you add to your trusted circle and for what you share with them. When you trigger an alert or a Monitor check-in, your chosen status and location are made available to that circle. Use these tools thoughtfully and do not send false alarms, since a false alert can waste urgent attention that someone else may need.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, dox, threaten, or share the private information of other people without consent
• Send false, misleading, or malicious alerts or emergency signals
• Upload harmful, illegal, or infringing content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another person's circle or data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its underlying infrastructure

5. Prepared Statements & Affirmations

Audio statements and affirmations are informational tools to help you speak clearly and calmly, and to reinforce self-worth and community. They are not legal advice, and playing a prepared statement does not by itself make any legal claim or guarantee any legal outcome. Rights must be asserted in line with the law of your jurisdiction.

6. Content You Add

You may add profiles, circle contacts, alerts, and audio to your own library. You are responsible for the content you add and for the choices you make with it. We do not sell your information.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is provided "as is." Scheduled maintenance or technical failures may interrupt access from time to time.

8. Termination

We may suspend or revoke access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, UGoodFam? and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and are not liable for decisions made or reliance placed on this informational Service. Always use official emergency services for real emergencies.
